Philadelphia Phillies | App Design
The Philadelphia Phillies are a Major baseball team based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is a personal project that I have been working on for a while as a Phillies fan and hopes to potentially make this the official app shortly. The goal for right now was to make starter pages that the everyday fan would go to when they first log on and build the rest of there.

Inspirations for the layouts are current sports apps that are available for both Android and iOS users like ESPN, MLB, and the Yahoo Sports app. To start off, Will be 8 boards/pages for initial ideas.
A splash page shows a primary team color with an animation of the team logo coming onto the screen. Another option would be actions photos/video of the team.
There is a possibility for a sign-in page for fans, season ticket holders, and/or premium member accounts. Having the option to do a traditional sign-in or signing in with google. Also, when there is a new user, there is an option to register a new account. Screen options are the full screen team colors or diffrent action background photos/video.
The goal of the page is to have a live play-by-play of the current game on GameDay when the user first opens the app. Also, notifications would be sent to the phone as the game comes on. Shows the location of the game, the box score, which bases are occupied, the number of outs and strikes, who was currently at bat, what player is pitching, and who is next at bat.
Also, another idea that came across was for those who wanted to watch the game live to have the option to go watch live. Then there are users who just want to go to the news, so that option is available as well.
The home/news page mimics current how most news pages are display in most apps. Next screen shows the navigation (so far) showing the “RING THE BELL” slogan after a win with an option to search keywords, stories, players, etc. Also, the options for giving feedback and settings that the user can control. Then there is the roster page where the user can look through players by position and also a fully detailed player page for the current season with the option to see more and to follow on social media.
